Question 1

How much do I earn?

Accepted Answer

You earn 50% of a referred business's first monthly payment, then 20% of every payment after that, for as long as they stay subscribed. They get 10% off forever, and commission is worked out on what they actually pay. On the Growth plan that is $22.05 for the first month, then $8.82 every month, or $119.07 per customer in year one (USD).

Question 2

How does the 50% work on yearly plans?

Accepted Answer

A yearly invoice covers 12 months, so one month's share of it is paid at 50% and the other 11 at 20%. You get the same first-year total as from a monthly customer, paid in one go, then 20% of each yearly renewal.

Question 3

Do referred businesses get a discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your unique coupon is 10% off, forever, on Starter, Growth, Pro and Enterprise — monthly or yearly. Share the coupon or the referral link; both credit you.

Question 4

When do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Payouts are prepared once your unpaid balance reaches $50. You choose your payout method in Refer & Earn. We send payouts after that threshold is met — not on a per-click basis.

Question 5

Do I earn during the free trial?

Accepted Answer

No. Commission is credited only on real, successful charges. The 7-day trial is free, so it does not pay out.

Question 6

How long does my referral last?

Accepted Answer

Someone who signs up through your link is attributed to you permanently for that workspace. The tracking cookie lasts 90 days from the first click, so they do not have to subscribe on the same day.

Question 7

Do I need an existing WhatsGrow account?

Accepted Answer

You need a workspace to join — enrolment lives inside the product, next to your link, coupon, balance and payout details. Creating one is free and does not require a card.

Question 8

Can I refer myself?

Accepted Answer

No. Your own coupon will not apply to your own workspace, and self-referrals are not credited.

Question 9

What if they already have an account?

Accepted Answer

Referral credit is first-touch and applies when a new workspace signs up through your link, or when they apply your coupon at checkout. Existing paying workspaces cannot be re-attributed.
