The first 1,000 free-form service replies per business phone number each month are free; after that they are billed.
Marketing messages are promotional — offers, campaigns, and newsletters. Utility messages are transactional — order confirmations, shipping updates, and appointment reminders. Utility messages cost significantly less (roughly 2.5× to 15× cheaper depending on the country, for example $0.0014 vs $0.0118 in India and $0.0550 vs $0.1365 in Germany).
