Is Interakt cheaper than WhatsGrow AI?
On the published list, Interakt Growth at $55 a month and Advanced at $69 a month give you unlimited agents, which is a strong point for large support teams. The Sales CRM, if you need it, is a separate Rs. 2,499 a month for five agents, and the WhatsApp AI Agents add-on is listed at $74.99 on top.
WhatsGrow AI puts the pipeline and AI agents in the plan, with agent caps of 3, 10 and 50. For a team of 10 or fewer, that usually means a single line item. For a team of 80 people on chat, Interakt's unlimited agents could be cheaper, and we would not argue otherwise.

What does a team of 5 agents and 3,000 marketing messages a month cost in India?
On Interakt, five agents fit comfortably on Growth at $55 a month or Advanced at $69 a month. Add the Sales CRM at Rs. 2,499 a month if you want deal tracking, and the AI agents add-on if you want an LLM bot. The part we cannot give you is the message line: the page says template charges vary by country and does not publish the markup for non-Enterprise plans, so get Interakt's India rate card for 3,000 marketing templates.
For the Meta portion, Meta bills each delivered marketing template at the rate for the recipient's country code, and India's marketing rate went up on 1 January 2026. Use Meta's INR rate card for the base number.

Interakt vs WhatsGrow AI: AI chatbot differences
Interakt's included chatbot is a basic linear builder on Growth, with branching flows, API calls and auto-assign on Advanced. AnswerBot, its URL-trained answer feature, is metered by runs: 4 on Growth and 6 on Advanced, each with a cap of five URLs. The LLM-style WhatsApp AI Agents are a paid add-on.
WhatsGrow AI includes the flow builder and AI agents in every plan. The agent uses function calling to update CRM fields, create tasks, move a lead between pipeline stages and send a payment link, and a knowledge base is available from Growth.
If you only need guided buttons and order updates, Interakt's builder is enough. If you want a bot that qualifies a lead and writes the result back to a record, check how the add-on connects to your CRM before you price it.
Does Interakt have a CRM and how is it different?
Yes. Interakt sells a Sales CRM as a separate product with 5 agents included, 30 custom fields, 45 tags and unrestricted contacts. The Growth and Advanced messaging plans explicitly exclude Sales CRM roles from their unlimited agents.
That structure suits teams that want to buy the messaging hub first and add sales tooling later. It also means two bills and two seat counts.
WhatsGrow AI treats the pipeline as part of the inbox: each conversation has a deal, a stage, an owner and tasks. Starter has one pipeline and Pro twenty. The trade-off is that you get fixed agent caps rather than unlimited seats.
Which is better for Shopify and D2C stores in India?

How to switch from Interakt
- Export your contacts and tags from Interakt as CSV and import them into WhatsGrow AI, mapping attributes to custom fields.
- List the Shopify automations you rely on (cart recovery, order confirmation, COD confirmation) and rebuild them one at a time with the flow builder or the eCommerce pack.
- Recreate your approved templates. They belong to your WhatsApp Business Account, so check whether yours move across when you reconnect the number.
- Connect the number through Embedded Signup at a quiet hour. A number can sit with only one provider's API at once.

How are WhatsApp message fees calculated now?
Since 1 July 2025 Meta charges per delivered template message, by category (marketing, utility, authentication) and recipient country. Since 1 October 2026 each business number gets 1,000 free service replies (non-template messages in the 24-hour window) a month, then pays per reply, and utility templates sent in that window are charged too. Both Interakt and WhatsGrow AI users pay Meta's fees.
Can I switch from Interakt without losing my number?
Generally yes. The number is registered to your WhatsApp Business Account, so you disconnect it from Interakt and reconnect it via WhatsGrow AI's Embedded Signup. Plan a short cutover, rebuild flows and expect to recreate templates.
